Organic Root Stimulator Smooth-n-Hold Pudding

After a short hiatus, I have returned to share some products that I am in love with right now. My #1 product at the moment is Organic Root Stimulator's Olive Oil Smooth -n- Hold Pudding. For those of us who have curly, un-tameable hair, this product is a blessing! I would recommend this product to people with all hair types, though, it's a great value and does the job well. Its a "moisturizing gel", but feels more like a light lotion than a gel and does not leave your hands sticky or greasy. While it has a light consistency, it is still able to hold down those stubborn flyaways, particularly on the edges of my hair which tend to be dryer and prone to breakage. I feel like my hair is finally getting the TLC it needs! The product itself comes in a little bucket shaped tub, and is a very light greenish-white color. Of course, it does not show up that way on your head, as long as you make sure it is rubbed in and absorbed properly. The scent I picked up on was mostly aloe, reminding me of days on the beach and taking in a bit too much sun. But the aloe scent is very pleasant and sweet smelling. It was so good I kept swinging my ponytail the entire day just so I could smell my hair. Others may not agree about the scent, as people have different preferences, but to me it smelled very fresh and clean. I had previously been using Hair Lotion from the same brand, but I felt like I had to use more of the product because it was thick and hard to spread on my hair. It was a bit greasy and caused me to break out on my face as well. I had been looking for this pudding high and low, and after a few months of looking, I finally found it at my local Pathmark in the ethnic hair care section for about $6. This is quite a value, considering the container holds 13 ounces and you end up using very little product.
